Situated in Kahibah, this project involved the total reimagining of a traditional weatherboard cottage. By maintaining the original footprint but introducing an entirely new roof structure, the design utilizes raked ceilings and north-facing clerestory windows to dissolve the previous "small room" layout. Now a private residence, the home—nicknamed Zenith—connects expanded living areas to a new rear laneway studio and garage. The result is a light-filled sanctuary defined by crisp coastal finishes and a seamless "inside out" flow. Completed 2024.
